Church Building

Church Building (avg. size, how many it can seat, etc.): $12,500
(20x40, seating capacity of about 150): Indian culture is something similar to the Jewish culture in the sense of wanting a separate place of worship. Having a temple for worshipping God is built into the culture and into the hearts of people. A Church fulfills this role of allowing the indigenous people to worship God according to the needs of their heart and in a way that makes them feel complete in worshipping God.
Also, in a nation where the people are divided into castes and tribes a common worship place removes the barriers between people, which would not be possible if church was held in houses. In places where the growing believers cannot accommodate themselves in the small Indian houses, meeting in the open becomes difficult during the cold winter or the cruel summer or the heavy rains.

A church building is not only needed for the above reasons, but we have seen that it also helps in establishing the pioneer believers steadfast in the faith and Christian lifestyle.
Most of the villages are able to pool in the money and provide with a piece of land for church buildings. For many others, who are even poorer (especially the tribes living in deep forests or remote places), if we can buy them a small piece of land, they will construct a small shed with forest material as a worship place.
